Leadership Activities
Beloit College Softball
As a three year starter for the varsity softball team at Beloit College, I have recently been named team captain for the 2014-2015 season. I have been given the opportunity to direct team bonding activities, consult the coaches with team disputes and lead the team through practices and games on the field. In addition to the leadership roles that I have taken on the field, I have also been an event planner for the Beloit College's Kids Night Program and a clinician at Beloit College softball clinics for the last three years. Both off the field leadership roles have allowed me to serve as a mentor for youth in the Beloit community.
Toxic Fastpitch
I am the founder and president of Toxic Fastpitch, which is a travel fastpitch organization for girls between the ages of 14-18 years old in the Beloit community. I lead community service for the organization and plan all of the team's tournament events. I stress the importance of building relationships and communication among the girls I coach. Softball is my passion and I love being able to bring my skills back to youth in the community.
